We are currently offering Hand Knitting Chunky Blanket Classes. Learn to hand knit and make a super soft chenille "Chunky Blanket". Once you learn how to hand knit, you will enjoy making these blankets for yourself as well as for gifts! No experience necessary. Suitable for ages 16+ but anyone over 10 can help with an adult's project.
Blankets are approximately 40" x 50" when completed and will vary based on knitting style. No two will be exactly the same!
The class fee is $35 for the instruction. Class time will be approximately 2 - 2.5 hours to complete. I do ask guests to bring their choice of yarn. The yarn needed to make a chunky blanket is a high quality, chunky chenille which is 100% polyester. I recommend:
Bernat Blanket BIG (4 skeins) - Available at Michaels stores or Michaels.com

* Classes will be offered with a maximum of 10 participants...email us for our next date and venue!
* Host your own private class and have a "Knit & Sip"! Have your guests bring a snack and you supply the drinks! Your class fee is free with 6 paid guests and BerkSherps will pay for your yarn if you have 10 paid guests.
* Hold a fundraiser with at least 10 participants (maximum of 30) and make 20% of the class fees for your organization.
Class fees are nonrefundable if you happen to not be able to attend BUT you may transfer it to another class. BerkSherps reserves the right to postpone & reschedule a class due to weather related events. All fees paid would be transferrable to another class.
